Chef Clarke Merrell opened Dank Burrito as a food truck in 2014 and in less than a year won National Food Truck Rookie of the Year. Since then he has opened two restaurant locations of Dank Burrito in Morehead City and Beaufort, NC. Merrell is also owner and executive chef of Morehead City's Circa 81 restaurant and has four locations of Beaufort Olive Oil Company. Transfer Co will be the third location for Dank Burrito's chef-inspired tacos, burritos, and bowls. Using flavorful bases that vary from Asian pulled-pork to shaved ribeye, Dank Burrito creates unique combinations that make for addicting results. Think house-made salsas and pico, and add toppings like ginger slaw, kimchi, and dank yum yum sauce.
