Oyster Shucking Class

Join Locals Oyster Bar on June 26th for an evening of NC oysters! This 1.5 hour class will offer a hands-on oyster shucking demonstration, complete with 12 oysters for you to practice shucking. We will also go over the importance of NC oysters in our state, farming techniques, environmental factors, and safety.

Party down with us this Sunday, March 3rd at Transfer Co. Food Hall featuring menu items and cocktails inspired by the BIG EASY from: Benchwarmers Bagels, Captain Cookie and the Milkman, Che Empanadas, and Locals Oyster bar; along with New Orleans-influenced draft releases from Burial Beer Co. on tap at Burial's Exhibit Space and at Transfer Company’s Bar. Winter Seafood Jubilee

Join us on February 23 from Noon-4pm for Locals Oyster Bar’s Winter Seafood Jubilee. This is the grand opening of the newest Locals Seafood fresh fish market, and we’re celebrating it the only way we know how - with North Carolina seafood! Locals Oyster Bar will be hosting a fish fry on the Transfer Co. Food Hall patio, with additional food and raw oysters available at the bar.
