The PineCone Bluegrass Jam is back! On Monday, June 28, Russell Johnson will facilitate our first bluegrass jam of 2021 at Transfer Food Hall in downtown Raleigh! Transfer has an outdoor patio, parking, and food and drink options as well.

This is a “circle jam,” where musicians sit in a circle and play together. The repertoire includes both instrumental tunes and vocal songs. Whether you're a first-time jammer or a veteran, you're welcome to learn the tunes and play along, or just listen and observe! However, please note that this is not a learning jam (often referred to as a "slow jam" in bluegrass circles). Nonetheless, it's a great place to meet other musicians who share your enthusiasm for bluegrass.

Masks are not required, but those who choose to wear them are still welcome to do so. Masks are still recommended for people who are not fully vaccinated.
